    Description

This three piece outfit is for those between childhood and adulthood - preteen to young teenagers. Or Perhaps for those who are smaller and petite.  It's made to be formfitting but modest with a bit of flare. Most pictures were taken with a small hoopskirt underneath that can be purchased separately as this outfit does not come with one. There are three pieces that come with this outfit.
The first piece would be the bumroll. It is made out of blue-green, 100% cotton and stuffed with premium fiberfill; the tie is an emerald green silky ribbon. The bumroll's purpose is to help hold the skirt away from the legs and to create the classic bell shape of the era.
The second piece is the skirt. It's made out of 100% cotton. The main part of the skirt is made out of the same blue-green cotton as the bum roll. It is knife pleated from back to front .This skirt has a slight curve built into the hemline. This is to make walking easier for someone not used to wearing such long skirts. Or, if you would like, it could create a slight train as was fashionable during the early Tudor age.  There is black embroider on the edge hem of the skirt. The skirt is also done in a petticoat style to make putting it on easy. Using the black cotton waistband of the skirt you tie it from back to front, then front to back. There are loops at the back of the skirt to keep the waistband in the same position. They also help to loop the ties back and forth for a less bulky way of securing the skirt. The hidden openings at the side of the skirt that this style creates allows you to access your own pair of pockets if you'd like to add them to the outfit.
The third piece is the bodice. It's made, primarily with black, 100% cotton. It is done in an English style. You can keep the neckline up cold if you get cold or fold it down to reveal the hint of blue-green at the collar. There are decorate black embroider stitches on the teal, matching the skirt. The bodice is stiffened with a layer of canvas. There is plastic boning spaced 2 inches apart. This keeps the bodice in the conical shape favored during the European Renaissance era. It also helps to make sure that the bodice doesn't buckle when you close it with the 5 heavy duty hooks and bars. There's also a black cotton modesty panel built in to ensure that you can't see beyond the hooks and eyes as well as helps to protect the skin.
Measurements are taken at full closure. If can fit those that are smaller than the given measurements. Due to the nature of the style, the bodice may not fit those with a larger waistline. The skirt, however, definitely would. However, if you'd like to add your own front panel, the bodice could be pinned into place to fit the desired size.
