Description

Some people think green blends into the outside world; I beg to differ with this dress. The brilliant green and gold stands out as an eloquent gown.
Most of the pictures are taken with a hoopskirt (french farthingale) on which is not included in the outfit. There are 4 pieces to this outfit.
The simplest piece is the bumroll. It is made with white cotton and stuffed with premium polyester batting. There is a white ribbon running through the entirety of it so that it can be tied securely around the waist.
The second piece is the underskirt. It is made with gold satin and a mustard cotton. The style is a combination of a pettiskirt which ties back to front and then front to back. It has the decorative forepart sewn in for ease. On the thin waistband, in the back, there are three tabs which you slip the ribbon into in order to help with keeping the skirt in place. There are also loops sewn into the back that you can slip the bumroll into before tying it onto yourself. This ensures that the under pieces stay together well. The circumference of the skirt is well above 120 inches and as such will fit over most hoopskirts. Around the skirt are two rows of green ribbons which gives it that extra little touch.
The third piece is the outer skirt. It is made out of silk satin. It has a circumstance above 100 inches. The waistband has been stiffened with a layer of canvas and you can adjust it to your own comfort level by using the grommets in the front. Around the bottom you'll find golden ribbon and trim to match the bodice's decoration.
The final piece is the bodice. It is made out of silk satin. It is stiffened with a layer of canvas as well has around 350 inches of boning. This forms a light weight corset which ends up being very supportive. The bodice is completely lined with green, 100% cotton; including the sleeves being lined. There is a wide privacy panel at the back so that you can lace the dress up to your individual comfort. This also ensures that the laces  will not dig into your back. Golden ribbon and trim decorate the bodice in a very flattering pattern.
This outfit is highly adjustable but the measurements are taken at full closure. It may fit those larger in the chest as it supports and squishes the breasts for proper decolletage. It could also fit those smaller as you can overlap the grommets before lacing it up.
