    Description

    Cruet made by the FB Rogers Co. Clear hobnail glass base with decorative silver plate neck, lid, and handle featuring vines and grapes embossed design with a lion head protruding in front where liquid is poured from its open mouth. The presence of grapes and vines design suggests this is for wine vinaigrette. The lid is attached, hinged and opens by drawing up with the top finial. It is 5 3/4" tall and 2 1/2" diameter. Weight is 12 oz. Very pretty piece.
