1 S/P, 2 M-XL bodice Renaissance costume SCA LARP

Description

I just love this bodice style! It is so flexible in size, with two sets of panels to lace into the front.  There is one Small/Petite, shown in the first 2 pictures.  The main color is a light green, I'm not sure whether to call it sage or light olive, with a faint self-stripe.  I have lightened the pictures as much as I can to show the colors.  The overbust panels are a contrast tapestry fabric.  With the underbust panels the bust measurement doesn't matter, but around the ribcage and waist it will fit 25 inches laced tight, up to 29 inches laced loosely. With the panels that cover the bust the measurement does matter, it will fit 34 inches laced tight, up to 38 inches laced loosely. From the shoulder seam down to the bottom hem (skimming past the bust on the outside, not over it) it measures 16 inches. Make sure this will reach just past your waist, or it won't look right with a gap showing your blouse and the waistband of your skirt.  This bodice came to me from someone else and I worked to finish the lining, covering raw edges, and adding the overbust panels and more large eyelets.
The 2 Medium to X-Large bodices are entirely my own work.  They will fit underbust ribcage/waist measurement 31 inches tight up to 36 inches laced loose.  For the overbust panels it will fit a bust of 39 inches tight up to 44 inches loose.  The length is 20 inches.  The first M-XL bodice is made of a really neat fabric, woven light blue one way and silver the other.  It is trimmed in a patterned darker blue, and silver ribbon knots on the shoulder straps.  I will include the silver cord laces.  The other bodice is textured rose velvet, trimmed in plain black.

These are made with boning at the front to keep the proper shape for the panels. The panels are boned horizontally across the tops but not at the bottom, so it stays flexible at the waist for easier movement. They are lined in thin satin, with many gold or silver colored eyelets to put the laces through. I will include black ribbons and a large needle to lace with. You could also use bootlaces.  These pictures do not show complete lacing because it takes about 15 minutes to do one set of panels and photograph it, for the sake of speed I have pinned the panels in place.   I have not photographed both pairs of panels for each color, again for the sake of speed.
I have lightened the pictures as much as possible to show the color or the trim. This comes from a smoke-free home but not cat-free. I try to keep cat hair off the costumes, but some may sneak through.
